Article 07
S is a 1.2 meters span flying wing that can be flown in ridge
or thermal soaring without engine. Due to its relatively high
aspect ratio it has a very good efficiency (a lot better than
standard "zagi's"). Wing load is less than 15 gr/dm2
so it can soar in light wind conditions. Wing is in foam with
reinforced leading edge, innovative servo installation and metal
sheeting on the left wing (distinctive trademark of all Article's
07)
An engine mount
is provided to attach a ~100W brushless engine in conjuncion with
a pusher propeller. The wing is very stable and can be used for
R/C training. Standard aerobatics (including spins and inverse
flying repertoire) and some advanced manouvers (hoverings, walls)
can be performed: remark it is a flying wing and has no tail.
With suggested motor and batteries, flight duration is about 6-7
minutes at full thottle performing hard aerobatics all the time.
