X-Plane by Austin Meyer, Laminar Research

X-Plane is the world's most comprehensive, powerful flight simulator, and has the most realistic flight model available for personal computers

It is the brainchild of this character here on the left, Austin Meyer. Go visit the simulator website and don't miss "Austin's Adventures"

The masterblaster has been created into the X-Plane environment, starting from the bits and pieces of an idea and assembling wings and controls all the way through, testing actual flight behaviour and back, until the creature got sufficient functionality and was translated into 3D CAD parametric drawings and CFD professional analysis (needed just to confirm X-Plane blade theory behaviour and test it under full Navier Stokes equations)

Austin upgraded V8.10 with extra control input DOFs, needed to fly the masterblaster on the special exoskeleton i developed for the simulator, as it is a 6 direct control DOFs machine. Austin did this for my needs, hopefully the upgrade will be used by someone else too. He is simply great

X-Plane logo will be granted a good deal of masterblaster surface when the technological demonstrator will be ready. I would like to place a template for the masterblaster surface and add the sponsors logo on it, but i cannot disclose the geometry here. If you are interested in getting sponsored, do something for the project here

Beside using X-Plane for the masterblaster, i spent some time in developing and flying "X-artworks", and test flying aircrafts for other people. Have a look at my X-Plane
